Congratulations to Dr Rahul Yadav, University of Sheffield, for winning "Best Technical Presentation"at the 13th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications (ICIEA-EU Conference) in Milan on the 7-9 of January.
On describing his winning presentation, Rahul stated "It is truly a proud moment. My presentation on modelling the influence of cut-edge mechanical damage and fracture in thin electrical steel sheets, and its correlation with magnetic domain behaviour, being recognised by the international community, is extremely encouraging. This achievement motivates me to further explore the complex interplay between mechanical processing and magnetic properties, with the aim of developing more accurate models that can guide the design of efficient electrical machines and magnetic devices in the future.
I am sincerely thankful to The University of Sheffield and FEMM hub for providing the platform that made this work possible. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Prof. Geraint W Jewell, Prof. Hassan Ghadbeigi, and all other team members for their invaluable guidance and support".
