Newcastle QRM

On the 14th and 15th of May, the FEMM team travelled to Newcastle for our 2nd Quarterly Research Meeting of 2025. We had a glorious day on the coast for our first day at Newcastle Universities Dove Marine Lab, where we heard research updates from 5 of our projects as well as an update on the FEMM Hub from our Director Professor Geraint Jewell.  We took advantage of the lovely weather and had lunch al fresco on the beach.

On our second day, we travelled back into Newcastle to the newly renovated Stephenson building. In the boardroom, with fantastic views of the city, we heard from the final  5 projects before, Newcastle lead, Dr Glynn Atkinson took the team on a tour of the facilities.

The group had a productive 2 days and we look forward to our next QRM down in Bristol!
