FEMM Hub gains a further new SME industry partner, Motor Design Ltd

We are pleased to announce that Motor Design Ltd has joined the Future Electrical Machines Manufacturing Hub as a new industrial partner.

Motor Design Ltd is a world leader in developing advanced software and tools for electric machine design. Their team of electric motor design experts have been conducting cutting-edge research and providing software and support to companies worldwide since 1998.

Joining the Hub’s group of industrial partners, Motor Design Ltd brings expertise in the area of design and simulation of electric motors for high performance applications, where upfront simulation and optimisation is often crucial in meeting the challenging design requirements such as power density, cost and efficiency. In particular, this newly established partnership between Motor Design Ltd and the FEMM hub will bring dedicated motor design and simulation expertise into the hub with the provision of simulation software and potential to collaborate on industrial research.
