Deadline extended for WEMDCD 2023
Our hub partners Newcastle University are proud to be hosting the sixth edition of IEEE Workshop on Electrical Machine Design, Control and Diagnostics (WEMDCD) in Newcastle upon Tyne, England from 13 to 14 April 2023.
WEMDCD is an international event sponsored by IEEE-IES Industrial Electronics Society and technical co-sponsoring from IEEEIAS Industry Applications Society and IEEE-PES Power and Energy Society.
The deadline to submit a paper for the event has now been extended to 31 January 2023. Papers must be submitted using the online submission system, instructions can be found on the event website.
The aim of this two-day event is to discuss the latest developments related to the electrical machines and drives, and their applications. The 2023 edition of WEMDCD will cover multiple applications including the land and air transport sectors, with the expert talks from governmental, academic, industrial and research institutions.
The event sessions will include papers related, but not limited, to the following topics:
Electrical machine design and modelling.
Electrical drives and their control.
Electrical drives reliability and monitoring.
Industrial and transport applications of machines and drives.
